In a recent coaching session where I was helping a friend get ready for an important interview, he asked how he should address the folks he'd be meeting with, should he call them Mr., Ms., Mrs. or Dr.? My answer was none of the above!
Rather, I encouraged him to simply refer to them by their first names. After a lifetime in sales and relationship management I've come to learn that there's no more powerful a word than an individual's first name.
