For the past several years I had the honor of serving as a member of the Summa Health System Board of Directors.  While all my board colleagues are gifted individuals and committed to the ongoing improvement of healthcare in northeast Ohio, one of them caught my attention recently with a post on his LinkedIn page.

The article, Ten Practices Before You Lose Your Job was written by Ed Marx, a leader in the field of healthcare technology.  During this season in my life, I spend a fair amount of my time doing one on one career coaching with individuals who are either contemplating a career change or find themselves, unexpectedly amid one.

As I read Ed’s recent post, I came away impressed with the succinct manner in which he summarizes key practices that would well serve anyone who is presently employed in the event they find themselves in the job market all of a sudden.

I hope the information summarized in this article is a helpful encouragement to you.
